Privacy Policy

SurvivorsArcade is a free, unofficial fan tool. There are no accounts, no ads and no payments, and this site sets no cookies of its own.

Where the site runs

The site and its small API run on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers and a D1 database). Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the network request your browser sends.

What we count

  • Visits. Page views are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
  • Tool steps. Our own event log records which steps were used, for example "a build was shown", "a move was checked" or "the game was opened here". Each entry holds the event name, the page path, the page language, small details about the step (such as which Pokédex number was shown; never text you typed, only its length), and where the visit came from: the first page of the visit, the domain of the site that sent you and any utm_ tags in the link.
  • No IP address is stored. Visitors are grouped by a keyed hash of the IP address, the browser's user agent and the date, so the same visitor cannot be followed from one day to the next. The user agent is also used to tell bots from people; it is not stored.
  • Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honoured: with either on, your browser does not send events and the API drops them.

What your browser keeps

This site stores a few small values in your browser's local and session storage. They stay on your device.

  • orbitmate:landing (session storage): the first page of this visit and where it came from, sent along with the events above.
  • orbitmate:attribution (local storage): the first and latest place you came from, kept for up to 30 days. With no accounts on this site, it is not sent anywhere.
  • gameW.pokesurvivor (local storage): how wide you dragged the game panel in "Play while you plan".
  • orbitmate:test (local storage): set only when a link with a utm_source=test-… tag is opened, which we use to mark our own test visits.

What you choose to give us

  • Your email, for patch alerts or for the original-game vote. Only if you type it in and press the button. We store it with a one-line note of which form it came from in our Cloudflare D1 database, and a copy may be forwarded to our own inbox. We use it to write to you once about that one thing, then delete it. We never sell or share it.

The embedded game

"Play here" loads only when you click it. It then shows the official game page from pokesurvivor.com inside this page, and your browser connects to that site directly. That page is run by the game's author, not by us; what it stores (settings, saves, a login if you use one) is governed by the official site. We can't read it.
